As assignments in Hollywood grew rare, Bernard Herrmann decided to move to the country and city of his choice. As he went to England quite often before for concert performances and to meet other composers like Ralph Vaughan Williams and Laurie Johnson. His favourite park in London was Regent’s Park, so he choose his homes in that area.
